SUMMARY

The Associate Chief Operating Officer (ACOO), in conjunction with the COO/CMO, is responsible for assuring the establishment and oversight of cost effective, high quality health care services throughout GVHC.  Working as a collaborative partner with the COO/CMO, the ACOO will provide analysis and recommendations to improve the communication, clinical quality, operational and financial performance across the organization.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Golden Valley Health Centers seeks a seasoned health care operations leader to serve as Associate Chief Operations Officer and right hand to the Chief Operations Officer/Chief Medical Officer.  This is an opportunity for an experienced leader to have a great deal of impact and autonomy in leading a successful and growing $145 million Federally Qualified Health Center in Central California.  The Associate Chief Operations Officer (ACOO) will be gifted at pivoting between future-oriented strategic planning and grounded daily leadership and management at a time of transformation, integration, and expansion.  The ACOO will build on ongoing efforts to deliver a consistent and high quality patient experience; will lead the organization in maximizing the transformative value of EPIC; and will mentor and develop teams and individuals so that Golden Valley Health Centers continues to be an employer of choice in the Central California region.  There is ample opportunity for this position to grow, and with success, the likelihood is very high that this Associate Chief Operating Office (ACOO) will become the Chief Operating Officer of the organization.
