SUMMARY

Established in 1950, Hilltown Community Health Centers, Inc. (HCHC) has been officially recognized as a Federal Qualified Health Center (FQHC) since 2000. Its primary objective is to ensure accessibility to exceptional integrated healthcare and social service programs, with the aim of promoting the well-being of individuals, families, and communities. HCHC offers a comprehensive range of cutting-edge services including medical, dental, behavioral health, optometry, and health education and outreach. In 2022, HCHC catered to a patient base of almost 10,000 individuals, with 38% of them falling at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guideline.  HCHC is highly committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in its hiring practices.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an opportunity to become the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hilltown Community Health Center, a financially healthy, four-location Federally Qualified Health Center out of Worthington, MA. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO must know how to run a rural health center operationally and lead them strategically as the face of the organization before the community at large.

THE POSITION

The CEO is accountable to the Board of Directors (BOD) and assumes the responsibility of developing and fostering an organization that is dynamic, adaptable, sustainable, and efficient in addressing the healthcare needs of western Massachusetts. This includes overseeing all clinical services, such as medical, dental, optometry, behavioral health, health education, and community outreach. Additionally, the CEO is responsible for managing the financial and administrative operations within the organizational structure, ensuring fiscal integrity, and serving as the link between the Board of Directors and the staff. The CEO also provides guidance on strategic planning, corporate compliance, and acts as a liaison to federal, state, and community organizations.
