Springwell is a private, not-for-profit, $42 million organization that promotes the independence, dignity, and well-being of the elderly and disabled through the coordination and delivery of high-quality, affordable home and community-based care. Springwell seeks a well qualified CEO to lead what is already a successful, financially healthy organization serving an important mission. The right candidate will have a leadership background in elder services, services for the disabled, or similar non-profit leadership experience, and will thrive in a highly visible role featuring engagement with the community at large, government funding sources, insurers, housing authorities, and providers of health care and other services for the disabled.


The Chief Executive Officer reports to the Springwell Board of Directors through the Board Chair, and is responsible for the strategic vision, direction, and oversight of the organization. A champion of diversity and inclusion, the Springwell’s next CEO will be responsible for providing vision, leadership, and direction for the organization’s thriving programs, services, and activities. Reporting to a committed and energized Board of Directors, the incoming CEO will be a visionary who will oversee the organization’s strategic direction, organizational status and reputational well-being. The successful CEO must also assure continued financial stability, contractual and regulatory compliance, and superb program performance and quality. The CEO will directly supervise a skilled management team (comprised of the COO, CFO, CHRO, and Directors of Development, Health Partnerships, and Nutrition), and represent Springwell in fundraising endeavors and public events. It is anticipated that the successful CEO will continue to build on the strong Springwell foundation by fostering an inclusive team environment and a dynamic culture. As an advocate and an ally for the communities served, the CEO will build upon the Springwell’s successes by developing and implementing strategies to maximize revenue growth through legislative advocacy, fundraising, and business development. The CEO will oversee all operations and insure a seamless alignment with the Aging Service Access Point (ASAP) network, as well as other relevant community organizations.
