RiverSpring Living (RiverSpring) is one of the largest and most highly recognized non-profit senior care organizations in the country, and is anchored by world-renowned Hebrew Home at Riverdale (ranked Best by the US News and World Report). RiverSpring is seeking a broadly experienced, multi-talented, strategic CFO who identifies strongly with the mission-driven culture of this $1 Billion senior care organization.  The new CFO will partner with the CEO, board, executive team, and other senior staff to conceptualize the organization’s financial objectives and business priorities, and to help develop and implement the organization’s strategic plan, including new ventures and acquisitions.  


RiverSpring Living serves over 18,000 older adults throughout the metropolitan NYC area, with 9 separate corporations, a $1 Billion budget, and over $300 million of investment assets.  This is an opportunity to assume a key strategic leadership role with a nationally acclaimed leader in senior care. RiverSpring has over 600 skilled nursing beds, 90 subacute beds, 105 assisted living units, 365 independent living units (including a joint venture with affordable housing developer), and a managed long term care plan.  


The CFO is responsible for the leadership and implementation of long-term financial objectives for this highly complex not-for-profit healthcare system. Reporting to the CEO and a member of the executive team, the CFO is responsible for Finance, Treasury, Investments, Capital Projects, Purchasing and Internal Audit. The CFO interacts regularly with the Finance, Investment, Audit and Real Estate Committees of the Board.
