SUMMARY
Lowell Community Health Center (Lowell CHC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3), federally qualified health center that provides primary care, behavioral health, dental and eye care services to the people of the Greater Lowell area. The Health Center is governed by a Board of Directors, whose members reflect the rich cultural diversity of the Health Center’s patients and staff, as well as the Greater Lowell community. The Board of Directors is comprised of a consumer majority where over half of its members receive care at the Health Center.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Lowell Community Health Center seeks a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and serving as a key member of the Executive Leadership team, the CFO will first and foremost be a partner in the strategic leadership of Lowell Community Health Center, as well as be responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial operations, business development, health justice vision, and growth strategy. THE POSITION
The position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) represents an outstanding opportunity to impact the financial operations, as well as the future and strategic direction of the Lowell Community Health Center. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO provides financial management and strategic support to the Executive Leadership team. As a strategic partner to the CEO and Executive Leadership team, the CFO is responsible for ensuring that Lowell CHC is effectively positioned to succeed in the dynamic economic environment in which it operates. This position requires a dedication to understanding the complex, and rapidly changing healthcare environment and its impact on the organization, as well as the ability to help ensure Lowell CHC achieves success under new reimbursement models.
