SUMMARY

Lowell Community Health Center (LCHC), located in Lowell, Massachusetts is seeking a Chief of Pediatrics to be the provider leader for the Department of Pediatrics.

THE POSITION

This position reports to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and is the provider leader for the Department of Pediatrics. The Chief of Pediatrics will guarantee that the highest standards of care are provided to all patients of the department by standardizing best practices across the department. This position will be responsible for the development of clinical and administrative processes that ensure the health center’s vision of clinical quality, safety, and excellent patient experience. This position has the responsibility of direct patient care and clinical administration. The new Chief will implement policies and procedures in concert with the values of LCHC and administer them consistently and fairly throughout the department of Pediatrics. The new Chief will be an enthusiastic advocate for new ideas, innovation and programs that will enhance and expand patient care. S/he will be the face of the Department of Pediatrics within LCHC and will develop relationships with external agencies and represent the interests of the health center.
