This is an opportunity for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) with an entrepreneurial spirit and vision to help manage growth within one of the premiere community health centers in Connecticut. The COO will be an integral partner to an inspiring and motivated leadership team dedicated to providing exemplary integrated care and customer service to New Haven’s underserved communities. This is the opportunity for a seasoned COO to play a key role in the evolution of an innovative community health center with industry-wide recognition.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the COO will be responsible for conceiving, designing, recommending, implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of infrastructure and systems that enable cost effective, performance-driven delivery of CS-HHC’s services. The new leader will ensure that business operations are efficient and effective and coordinated with clinical operations in a way that ensures proper management of resources, distribution of goods and services to customers, and analysis of queue systems is executed.
The COO must have a master’s degree with a minimum of five years of successful experience. This individual must have experience working with large, full service ambulatory clinics, health centers or hospitals in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a track record of growing a practice. S/he will be data driven, results oriented and decisive and will continuously seek and identify opportunities to improve performance.
