SUMMARY

Neighborhood Health is a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center that provides primary medical, dental, and behavioral health care to in multiple clinics across Northern Virginia. Neighborhood Health’s mission is to improve health and advance health equity in Alexandria, Arlington, and Fairfax counties by providing high-quality primary care to more than 33,000 patients in 13 clinics regardless of ability to pay. Neighborhood Health has been recognized for the quality of care that it provides to its patients and has strong partnerships with local organizations to improve health in its community particularly among underserved populations.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an opportunity for a Human Resources executive with initiative and people skills to serve the HR function for a very well respected, healthy, multifaceted Federally Qualified Health Center in Alexandria VA. This position plays a critical role in leading Human Resources staff in recruitment, support, development, and retention of the workforce necessary for Neighborhood Health to achieve its objective in serving its patient population. THE POSITION

Reporting to the CEO, The Director of Human Resources provides leadership for all human resources strategy and functions across the organization. The HR Director will ensure compliance with relevant HR laws and regulations and will coordinate the development, updating, and implementation of organization’s HR policies and procedures.
