This is a well-respected healthcare organization located in the New England area with several lines of business across many locations. The position requires the Director to be onsite with remote work available occasionally as needed. There are more than 1000 employees across the enterprise.

The Director position is a strategic role whose leader will design an operationally functional department to meet the needs of the employees and the organization while working strategically toward a culture that creates loyalty and team spirit across the enterprise. The right person for this position will truly enjoy creating solutions to challenges that will bring the organization to the next level in human resource management.
Reporting directly to the COO, the Human Resources Director is responsible for ensuring that the workforce can perform optimally, ensuring that sufficient people are recruited, retained, trained, and supported to fulfil the organization’s goals and commitments. They will oversee their direct reports’ administration and execution of HR responsibilities within their purview, while keeping the big picture of organizational strategy front of mind. This person will be expected to develop strong relationships internally and externally with vendors and stakeholders. The Human Resources Director wears many hats throughout a typical workday.
