SUMMARY
Located in Pittsfield, MA, Berkshire Place is an independent, unaffiliated, non-profit governed by a local Board of Directors comprising dedicated healthcare and business professionals from the local community. Berkshire Place is
- A 5-star, 54-bed, all private room with full bathroom skilled nursing facility, which provides long-term care, certified dementia special care, short-term skilled nursing & rehabilitation, and outpatient rehabilitation. It serves those who are Medicare-aged eligible with payment sources through Medicare, private insurance, and private resources only.
- A private home care agency (known as At Home with Berkshire Place); and
- An 18-unit independent living facility (known as the Residences at 89 South).
THE OPPORTUNITY
Founded in 1888, Berkshire Place is a highly distinguished continuing care retirement community (CCRC) located in the heart of the Berkshire Region of Massachusetts. The organization is currently seeking an Administrator with leadership skills to join its executive team and guide its prestigious nursing facility operations.
THE POSITION
Reporting to the Executive Director (with 25 years of stability to the organization), the Administrator will oversee the daily operations of the ten-year old, 54-bed skilled nursing facility, ensuring compliance with existing federal (CMS), state (Massachusetts Department of Public Health for long-term care facilities), and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. This is to ensure the delivery of the highest quality care and services possible.
