SUMMARY

For more than a century, the mission of Ovation Communities has been to provide the community with services that enable seniors or the infirm to be part of a high-quality Jewish environment with comfort, meaning, independence and dignity. Ovation provides a continuum of living choices. Ovation’s Jewish Home & Care Center and Ovation Chai Point share a campus on Milwaukee’s East Side with magnificent views of Lake Michigan. They offer independent apartments, rehabilitation, residential memory care, community day programs; respite, and skilled nursing services are also available.

Ovation Communities has been innovative in establishing an office of research dedicated to collaborating with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in finding new ways to foster health and well-being. Ovation is in its fourth year of its unique program of training the next generation of healthcare workers through their three-year high school training program called The Geriatric Career Development (GCD) Program.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an opportunity for a strategic, business-savvy, mission- and service-driven healthcare executive to lead a senior care organization that is a focal point of the Jewish population of greater Milwaukee area. The Jewish Home & Care Center (JHCC) is part of Ovation Communities, which includes Chai Point, a premier Independent Living residence and Kavod Terrace, a soon to be opened dedicated CBRF-C memory care community.

THE POSITION

The President of JHCC is responsible for leadership and direction, quality of services, fiscal health, and use of Ovation’s resources to ensure that Ovation and JHCC’s mission and vision are achieved. Operationally, the President oversees all accounting functions as well as HR, Property, Technology, and other services that are provided throughout the campus. While JHCC has a licensed Administrator who supervises the clinical operation, the President will be expected to have a Wisconsin license early in their employment.
