SUMMARY

Rural Health Corporation of Northeastern Pennsylvania (RHC), headquartered in Wilkes-Barre, PA seeks a seasoned leader to serve as CEO, to lead and shape this vital Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).  RHC consists of a pharmacy and twelve clinics in nine locations in three counties. Despite its name, RHC spans urban and rural environments that are close to beautiful recreational areas in the Poconos and other destinations known for natural beauty, cultural and educational opportunities, and a low cost of living.  RHC is endowed with a strong clinical and administrative team and is well-positioned for the next CEO to build partnerships, programs and patient volume to better serve its communities and ensure sustainability and growth.

THE POSITION

The ideal candidate will have a record of successful, engaged leadership of a mission-driven, community-based health care organization, and will be drawn to the goal of improving the life and health of the RHC community. S/he should have strong financial skills; a record of cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with colleagues, staff, and external partners; a record of success in grant procurement/fundraising; and a keen understanding of how to work with a Board of Directors.
