SUMMARY

STRIDE Community Health Center is a 501(c)(3) Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with a 30+ year history of providing primary care and other health-related services in a community-based setting. Established in 1989 in response to the primary health care needs of the medically underserved population in suburban Denver, STRIDE Community Health Center has the largest population base of any FQHC in Colorado and provides primary care, dental, pharmacy, behavioral health, health education, care coordination, patient navigation, pharmacy, and outreach and enrollment services in accordance with its mission.  STRIDE has about 800 non-union employees.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Senior Director of Information Services (IS) will provide vision and leadership in the development and implementation of STRIDE’s Information Services program. STRIDE is a highly successful and growing $75 million, 17-location FQHC that is situated in the beautiful Denver, CO area. The IS Department at STRIDE includes hardware, software, data storage, communications, help desk, business systems, and security.

THE POSITION

The Senior Director of Information Systems will approach their role in a team-based fashion that supports patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change. The Senior Director will lead STRIDE in strategically planning and implementing IS systems to support the overall mission of the organization, including both clinical and administrative operations. With the accomplishment of tactical goals, the Senior Director of Information Systems will be looked to for higher-level strategic leadership.
