SUMMARY

For more than a century, HopeHealth has provided high quality, compassionate care to people in various stages of illness in communities in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Its roots began in home care in 1908 and then in hospice in 1976, coming together as HopeHealth in 2011 providing home care, palliative care and hospice care.  As the second oldest hospice in the country and one of the largest not-for-profit providers of palliative and hospice care in New England, HopeHealth has set the gold standard in serious illness and end-of-life care.  HopeHealth is the major teaching affiliate for hospice and palliative care of the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.  In September 2021 HopeHealth affiliated with Community VNA of Attleboro MA, further deepening its Massachusetts footprint.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Vice President of Clinical Excellence and Patient Experience (VPCEPE) is responsible for leading organizational activities designed to provide patients and families with the highest quality of care and patient/family experience at Hope Health, a well-respected home health, palliative care and hospice organization in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts.

THE POSITION

Reporting to the COO and working in collaboration with the senior leadership team, the VPCEPE will develop and implement quality initiatives based on strategic and operational goals for hospice, palliative care and home health.  In addition, this position has a dotted line relationship to the CEO related to strategy and will take an active role in the Board of Directors Quality & Compliance Committee, including the development of various Board presentations and reports.  The VPCEPE also is responsible for ensuring the organization meets all applicable compliance and regulatory requirements. This position serves as a resource to leadership teams in pursuit of excellent organizational performance.
