Our speakers are Cassandra Tembo and Gwenevere Josey, Chief Administrative Officer and Director of HR Strategic Support from Cedar Lake, in Louisville KY, a non-profit organization that supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Cassandra Tembo is the Chief Administrative Officer for Cedar Lake, and she is responsible for both Human Resources and Finance. Cassandra’s professional mantra is “achieving business results with, through and for people” because she believes employees show up every day with a desire to contribute their best to achieve exceptional outcomes. Cassandra graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Carolina Central University with an Accounting degree and earned a Masters in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
Gwenevere Josey is the Director of HR Strategic Support at Cedar Lake, a non-profit organization supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She is a seasoned HR professional with experience in policy development, employee relations, recruitment, training, leadership development and mentoring. Gwenevere holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from Bellarmine University and has taught English on the Secondary level. She has the HRCI certification – Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and the Society for Human Resource Management certification – SHRM-CP.
