For more than two decades Scot Park has been assisting nonprofit senior living and healthcare organizations through a myriad of successful planning efforts using lessons that he has learned from years of research, observation and study. In this presentation, Scot will share what he believes are the most important attributes every leader must embrace to achieve successful planning.
In doing so, he will briefly summarize valuable lessons learned from the authors of several highly regarded books on planning and strategy while providing practical examples of where and how those lessons have been successfully employed in various planning efforts.
Scot Park is the founder and principal of Artower Advisory Services, a boutique management consulting firm based in the Cleveland, Ohio area that for over a decade now has worked almost exclusively with nonprofit senior living and healthcare organizations. Artower provides planning and advisory services that include organizational strategy, financial advisory, large project development and operational/clinical performance improvement. Scot’s professional tenures as an employee have included Big 4 public accounting, commercial banking and real estate development. His areas of direct client experience have included strategic planning, financial advisory, M&A advisory, operational performance improvement, real estate development and IT decision support. As an industry advocate, Scot has either served on or been a founding member of the boards of several state and national long-term care advocacy and senior.
