Prior to joining ZurickDavis in 2017, Bonnie worked in nonprofit and behavioral health settings for over twenty years in various leadership roles. As State Director for Sinfonia Family Services and Clinical Director for Catholic Charities, she developed and implemented such new programs as Home and Community Based Treatment, Psychiatric Medication Management, and Mental Health Case Management services. She has a particular interest in evidence-based treatment and implemented Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (TF-CBT) and Wraparound programs and oversaw Functional Family Therapy. She also developed strategic partnerships to broaden organizational reach and expand services into under-served regions. Bonnie has led recruitment, team building, and professional development efforts in her leadership roles, building strong, successful teams. Additionally, Bonnie’s combined her passions for her field and for teaching others as an Adjunct Instructor at Thomas College in Waterville, Maine prior to her move back to southern Maine.
In addition to her professional leadership roles, Bonnie has fifteen years of experience serving on various Boards of Directors. She served on the Mainer Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers’ Board as President and chaired several committees, including the Committee for Nomination and Leadership Identification and New England Coalition Chair for the National Delegate Assembly held in Washington D.C. She was Vice President and President for Healthy Northern Kennebec, a grant funded community and public organization under the Maine General system that provided prevention and education services to address health disparities in central Maine, such as nutrition services, tobacco and substance use, diabetes, physical activity, and cancer screenings.
Bonnie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Education, and a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Southern Maine.
