Diversity, Equity. Inclusion and Belonging Advisor
Martha R. A. Fields is the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Advisor for ZurickDavis (ZD). In that role she works with ZD and our clients to make sure that they are optimally DEI sensitive relative to executive search and candidates.
She is known for delivering best practice leadership development, Human Resources Management, DEIB, Strategic Planning, Executive Coaching, and Educational Services. Martha is highly effective working on large scale projects and with executives, boards, managers, faculty, and staff. A former VP HR at Harvard-affiliated Mass Eye & Ear Infirmary, she has also served as a Chief Human Resources Officer, and President of the Boston Human Resources Association. She is a recipient of the NorthEast Human Resources Association’s, John D. Erdlen Award, their highest honor for Human Resources Leadership Excellence.
For six years, she chaired the prestigious national “Linkage Summit on Diversity.” Linkage Summit on Leading Diversity: Each year, this event attracted close to five hundred top global Chief Diversity Officers and other DEI expert. She has also developed for Harvard University a Global Leadership Conference focusing on diversity STEM talent. With the Conference of Boston Teaching Hospitals, she chaired a national initiative to address critical health care shortages in Boston for hard-to-fill healthcare jobs. The successful effort involved 12 Harvard Medical School affiliated hospitals and reduced Boston-area job vacancies by 38%. She is the Founder and Principal of two international results-oriented Management and Human Resources consulting firms. Ninety-eight percent (98%) of clients report receiving outstanding customer service.
Martha is a published author of eight books including one with Harvard Business School Publishing titled, Managing Diversity: Expert Solutions for Everyday Problems.” Martha is internationally recognized as a preventing labor shortage expert, strategic planner, connector, and thought leader. She has appeared as an expert on CNN, ABC, PBS, FOX 25 TV, CBS, NBC and in Fortune and Forbes.
