Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining ZurickDavis, Matthew followed a unique career track split between accounting and information technology. After graduating from Bentley College with a BS in accountancy and MS in taxation, he worked as an auditor with Landa and Altsher PC—a regional firm specializing in general audit, tax, and Medicare/Medicaid cost report work—to obtain his CPA license. With a strong interest in IT, he left accounting full time and worked as a principal with Innovative Ideas Unlimited Inc (IIUI) of Wakefield, MA for over twenty years. Besides working as a technical instructor/facilitator/evaluator, he also led the IIUI development team, served as the lead architect in developing a DoD certified document management system based on the IBM Domino platform.
With IIUI, he led countless custom development efforts focusing on document management, records management, and migration for the utility, government, financial, and manufacturing sectors—including multi-year engagements with FRB, DoD, DoE, and their affiliated partners.
After engaging with ZurickDavis for 10+ years as an IT specialist and three as Controller, Matthew assumed the full-time role of CFO in April 2020. He is a principal in our ZDinterim division while managing all contracts, finance, HR and IT issues for our overall ZurickDavis team.
